BICON (Prysmian) Multicleats, Multistraps

BICON-Prysmian-Multicleat-MultistrapBICON (Prysmian) Multicleats can be used for all types of cables routes. They are made using non-magnetic materials. BICON (Prysmian) Multicleat bases available as either single or two fixing designs and are also available in a variety of materials and finishes.

A BICON (Prysmian) multistrap is a strap complete with a tensioning clip, securing pin and winding key all made from highly corrosion resistant non-magnetic stainless steel, they are used as an intermediate restraint between BICON (Prysmian) Multicleats.

A BICON (Prysmian) Multicleat is a Multistrap with a base, the bases for the BICON (Prysmian) Multicleats can be:
- Aluminium alloy, plain or epoxy coated, two fixings design
- Cast iron, hot dip galvanised or epoxy coated, twofixings design
- Stainless steel, single or two fixings design
Multicleats may be used to anchor three cables in trefoil formation, single cables or bundles of cables to supports

BICON (Prysmian) Multicleat / Multistrap
BICON-Prysmian-Multicleat-Multistrap-Installation Fasten base to support with M10 fixings.
Loop strap through base and around cables.
Standard duty = 3 loops, Heavy duty = 4 loops.
BICON-Prysmian-Multicleat-Multistrap-Installation Pull slack into outer loop. Insert split pin in clip from right hand side around outer layer of strap about 10mm from end. To tension strap rotate key clockwise.
BICON-Prysmian-Multicleat-Multistrap-Installation Swing key over and engage in slots in clip.

**Note: If using the LSF buffer, cut buffer to desired length, place around cable(s).
